A multi-agency warrant round up will take place this weekend in Van Zandt County.

The Van, Grand Saline, Canton, and Wills Point Municipal Court’s along with Pct 1 and Pct 4 Constables will participate in the Great Texas Warrant Round Up with more than 300 other Texas agencies on Saturday February 16^th.

The roundup is designed to target defendants with traffic, parking, and higher charge warrants.

Affected persons are urged to contact their local court before Saturday to avoid arrest.

Since participation in the Great Texas Warrant Round Up in 2009, the Van Municipal Court has made more than 236 arrests, valued at a total of $74,462.
