Monday afternoon, the Grand Saline ISD, in conjuction with local emergency services, will conduct a district-wide lockdown drill.

District officials say the drill will occur on all campuses simultaneously and will be used to practice procedures and assess readiness in the event of an emergency. This is only a drill, however, parents are reminded that during the drill no one will be allowed in or out of school buildings.

Officials ask that all visitors remain off campuses and not to attempt to contact district officials or student by telephone during the drill.
