As reported months ago, Van Zandt County Constable Mickey Henson's patrol car was totaled in an accident. Soon, the constable will receive another vehicle to patrol the roadways. A vehicle in need of markings.

The Constable is asking elementary students in Pct.1 to come up with a design for the car. Henson is sponsoring a contest for the best design idea for his new car. Constable Henson says the winning design may not be used on the actual car primarily for budgetary reason concerning the custom creation of the decals, but an effort will be made.

"We just wanted to do something for the kids," said Henson.
