Dog quarantined after biting baby in face

A dog has been quarantined in Wood County after biting an 11-month-old boy in the face.

According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, authorities responded to a call at ETMC Quitman Wednesday regarding the bite. The dog’s owner was a family member and was able to provide vaccination papers.

Deputies took possession of the dog to place it in quarantine.
