Statistics have been reported from the DWI- No refusal Campaign in Smith County over the Holiday. Authorities say total DWI arrests for the No-Refusal initiative for all agencies were 18. DPS had 12 DWI arrests, Tyler PD had three DWI arrests, and the Smith County Sheriff’s Office, Lindale PD, and Whitehouse had one DWI arrest during the No-Refusal campaign. Total number of search warrants for blood obtained was 2. This is a grand total of 18 DWI arrests with 2 (11%) search warrants for blood obtained. |
