A Longview man has been indicted by the Wood County Grand Jury for committing fraud in a fishing tournament.

49-year-old Joey Walker was arrested by State Troopers after the indictment.

The fraud allegedly occurred during the Skeeter Bass Champs' Big Bass Tournament at Lake Fork.

“We had six individuals caught either using unauthorized crappie or cutting tails during the tournament,” said Wood County Game Warden Kurt Kelly.

Walker has been released on $5,000 bond.
