In response to Bob Costas’ Sunday night remarks regarding gun control after a Kansas City Chiefs football player took his life after killing his girlfriend with his personal handgun, East Texans are coming to the defense of the second amendment.
“In Texas, we believe in the 2nd Amendment,” said State Representative Bryan Hughes. “Every citizen has the right to keep and bear arms to protect themselves and their families.”
Rep. Hughes said that firearms have prevented crime in more cases than causing crime.
