An Upshur County Commissioner and his son are out of jail on bond after holding a Game Warden at gunpoint Saturday near Big Sandy.

Authorities say Pct. 3 Commissioner Lloyd Crabtree and his son Todd Crabtree were charged with Aggravated Assault Against a Public Servant. 

According to Texas Parks and Wildlife, State Game Warden Shane Bailey went onto the private property of the Crabtree family to do a routine check of hunters and was confronted by three armed men who pointed their weapons at Bailey and disarmed him.

Bailey called 911 with his cell phone.When authorities arrived Lloyd and Todd Crabtree were taken into custody. Bailey was unharmed in the incident.
