Tyler Police are searching for a Halloween masked burglar who was spooked during a robbery.

Police say Officers responded to an attempted Commercial Robbery at CVS Pharmacy, on S. Broadway Thursday night. A store employee advised that a black male, wearing a Halloween type skull mask, and armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded money.  During the course of the robbery, the cashier was able to call for help over the intercom. The suspect was scared by this and turned to flee the building. As he exited the store, he ran into the automatic doors, dropping a black handgun in the process. He retrieved the gun and fled the scene on foot.

Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to contact authorities.
