The Lindale Area Chamber of Commerce is
announcing their 21st Annual I-20 Team Real Estate
Championship Rodeo. Rodeo events will begin each night
at 7:30 PM at the Lindale Rodeo Arena located on Hwy. 16
West, 3-blocks from downtown. Highlighting Thursday's event
is Casey Rivers beginning at 7 PM. Advanced tickets
are on sale now. Prices are $7 for Thursday and $6 for
Friday and Saturday shows. Advanced tickets for
Children are free. Advanced tickets can be purchased
at the Chamber and at area local merchants. Please
note, advance ticket sales will end at 6 PM each evening.
Adult tickets purchased at the gate are $10 for Thursday and
$8 for Friday and Saturday. Children's tickets
purchased at the gate are $7 for Thursday and $5 for Friday

Decoration Day at Silver Lake Cemetery |

If you have family and/or friends buried in
the cemetery you are encouraged to attend. The
business meeting of the cemetery association will begin at
11 AM in the fellowship hall of The Silver Lake Baptist
Church, followed by a covered dish. The cemetery is
located on US Hwy. 80 between Grand Saline and Mineola.

• Million Dollar Hole-In-One Shoot-Out |

The Mineola Marine Corp Detachment #1278 is
sponsoring this event at the Mineola Country Club, Mineola,
Texas. There will be prizes during qualification week
and runner up prizes on Sunday. The Sunday Million
Dollar Shoot-Out will be on hole #9 at 1300 hours (1:00 PM)
and will be recorded on film. Proceeds from the
contest will go to fund the local 2008 Toy's for Tots
Campaign. The profits from food and drink concessions
will be donated to the Detachment Benevolence Fund, Mineola
Detachment #1278, Marine Corps League. Tickets: $1.00

after bloodlines. Raffle for this horse will be after
demo. Every 20 tickets sold will send a child to
