Lindale ISD Assistant Superintendent Belinda Neal, Ed.D., has been named the president-elect for the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA).
Neal will spend the 2013-2014 school year fulfilling her roles on the TEPSA executive committee and preparing to take the reins as president in June. She will be inducted as the TEPSA president on Friday, June 13, 2014 in Austin.
“It is humbling to work so closely with some of the top administrators across the state,” Dr. Neal said. “I have learned so much from them and enjoy being a part of a committed group of people that are true servant leaders in our schools and for our state.”
Dr. Neal received her doctorate in education from Baylor University. She became Assistant Superintendent of the Lindale ISD in 2012. Neal previously served the district as principal of College Street Elementary School and the Early Childhood Center. She has been a member of TEPSA since 1999 and has served on the TEPSA board of directors and committees since 2007.
TEPSA has more than 5,800 members who direct the activities of more than 2.5 million students in grades pre-kindergarten through eighth.
