Mineola Police are investigating a report of child abuse at a local daycare.
According to the Mineola police Department, the mother of the child involved in the incident came to police Thursday to a file a complaint. The complaint comes after a former employee of Guiding Light Childcare posted video of the incident on a social media website last week. Police say no charges have been filed against the employee in question but the case is being investigated by police and the Northeast Texas Advocacy Center. According to the Guiding Light Daycare, an employee has been let go in regards to this case and they are cooperating with police.
