|WPISD locked down after threat|

Thursday morning around 8:00am, all Wills Point ISD campuses went into lockdown as a proactive response to a reported threat.
According to Wills Point ISD, a parent contacted High School administration to report that her older child, a former student, was making threats to come to school and harm his younger brother. District and campus administration informed authorities of the situation. All students were secured indoors as authorities searched for the older brother. The individual was apprehended by law enforcement around 8:20. The lockdown was removed at 8:30.
