|East Texans reach out to to victims of West explosion|

After Wednesday’s fertilizer plant explosion in West, East Texans have demonstrated an urge to help.
Numerous organizations are providing that opportunity; Carter Blood Care is hosting numerous blood drives Thursday through Saturday. Locations include, UT Tyler and Texas College. A mobile unit will be set up in Greenville at the Hunt Co. Regional Hospital.
The Salvation Army is accepting donations by mail (PO Box 36607, Dallas, TX 75235) or by phone 1-800-SAL-ARMY. The Lindale FFA is gathering donations in the Ag shop at Lindale High School and will deliver to Waco area next Friday or Saturday morning.
Schools districts, county officials, and East Texas leaders have taken to social media outlets to share their grief in the West tragedy and to ask for and acknowledge prayer.
