A former Lindale firefighter has been sentenced to 180 days in the Smith County jail for DWI after crashing into a Tyler gas station in 2011. 29-year-old Christopher Combs was later charged with a blood alcohol concentration greater than .15. In November 2011, Combs crashed into an Exxon gas station on Gentry Parkway after dozing off behind the wheel.
