A fatality accident Thursday in Van Zandt County left an East Texas woman dead.

Authorities say the accident occurred just after 11 a.m. on CR 1507 just east of FM 1524 . Witnesses say a red Ford F-150 pickup ran off road striking a tree.

47-year-old Kimberly Sue Johnston was pronounced deceased at 11:50 am Thursday.
