|Two stabbed, one murdered in Upshur County|

On Wednesday February 6, 2013 around 5:41 p.m. Upshur County Sheriff Office responded to a disturbance on Ginger Rd. which is located in the Northern part of Upshur County. Responding Deputies learned that two people had been stabbed and the suspect had poured gasoline on a travel trailer and threatened to set it on fire. Upon Deputies arrival two victims were located who were both transported to an area hospital to be treated for their injuries. Deputies located the suspect who fled on foot. The suspect was located and arrested on two counts of Aggravated Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon.
It was later reported to the Sheriff Office that a woman who lives with the suspect was missing and not been heard from or seen since Tuesday February 5, 2013. Deputies took a missing person report from a relative and returned to the missing woman's residence in an attempt to locate her. Upon their arrival Deputies found evidence that led those to believe the woman may possibly be injured inside the residence. Deputies located the woman inside the residence that was deceased. The suspect charged in the two Aggravated Assault cases has also been charged with murder. All cases are currently under investigation by the Upshur County Sheriff Office Criminal Investigation Division.
