Severe weather is expected Tuesday in East Texas.
“The main threat for today is strong and damaging straight-lying winds which will be later this afternoon,” said KMOO Staff Meteorologist Doc Deason. “Also we can’t rule out some isolated tornado appearances around the area as well.”
Deason says cooler temperatures will accompany the line of thunderstorms.
“We will turn much cooler overnight. Winds will shift into the northwest and that will be the end of the show,” said Deason.
Weather experts say rainfall totals from Tuesday’s storms will range from one to inches.
