Authorities are looking for a man who held up a Winnsboro pharmacy Friday afternoon. Winnsboro Police say a man walked into Bells Pharmacy around 1:45 p.m., showed the clerk a large hunting knife and asked for the pain killer Oxycontin. Police say he left the store with 250 pills. No one was injured. Authorities say they believe the same man was at another local pharmacy earlier in the day and was caught on the store video surveillance camera. Police described the man as a white male, 6' 2" tall, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans, and driving a gray, possibly Ford, panel van. UPDATE: 4:15 p.m. - Franklin County Deputies believe they may have found the suspect during a routine traffic stop. The suspect was arrested for a previous, outstanding warrant. Winnsboro officers are continuing the investigation. |
