The Lindale Lady Eagles improved their district 14-4A record to 5-3 with a 25-13, 25-12, 25-21 sweep of Jacksonville on Tuesday. Maggie Ragsdale had 26 assists and two kills, Meagan Hardy had two aces, four kills and two blocks and Kelci Land finished with two aces, 13 kills and three digs. Other contributors were, Amanda Perry, Tylee Reimann, and Chrysa Fulcher. Lindale plays host to Nacogdoches on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Lady Hawks remained undefeated in district 17-A by defeating Union Hill, 25-9, 25-7, 25-10. Kylee Little finished with four aces and nine assists. Brianna Simmons and Courtney Davis also pitched in for the Lady Hawks in the win. The Lady Hawks play their final district match of the season on Tuesday against Big Sandy in Hawkins. The Lady Dogs outlasted Blooming Grove, 25-20, 16-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-2. Edgewood (24-10, 9-3) was led by Ashley Kay who finished with nine kills, one ace, twelve digs and five blocks. Edgewood plays host to Malakoff at 4:30 p.m. Friday. |
